The client wanted to preserve the historic character of the former industrial loft while introducing a modern, tranquil interior design. Key priorities included enhancing natural light, maintaining original architectural elements, incorporating custom features, and creating a seamless connection between indoor living and the surrounding Brooklyn environment.
We delivered a full renovation and interior design solution that balanced preservation with modern upgrades. Original industrial elements such as exposed pipes, sprinklers, ceiling beams, and the spiral staircase were retained and highlighted to maintain authenticity. Custom mirrors were installed in the living area to reflect natural light and amplify the expansive window views. The kitchen was designed with a deep green and rich walnut palette inspired by the surrounding neighborhood’s greenery. Carefully curated furnishings were selected to keep the space minimal yet warm, allowing the blend of old and new elements to stand out. Our scope also included general contracting, concrete and masonry work, structural enhancements, and full remodeling to ensure both aesthetic appeal and long-term functionality.
