Client Requirments

The client needed to convert a prewar commercial property into a functional and visually appealing wine and liquor store. Key requirements included preserving select architectural character, creating an efficient retail layout, integrating secure and organized storage systems, and ensuring all necessary infrastructure for daily operations and compliance.

Project execution

We carried out a complete renovation, beginning with structural preparation and layout reconfiguration to support retail flow and storage efficiency. The space was redesigned to balance customer accessibility with back-of-house storage, including custom shelving and display units for wine and liquor presentation. We upgraded flooring, ceilings, and lighting to create a clean, upscale retail environment. Dedicated storage areas were built to handle inventory organization and security. Electrical and plumbing systems were updated to meet commercial standards, and all finishing work—including taping, plastering, sanding, priming, and painting—was completed to deliver a polished, ready-to-operate liquor store in the Upper West Side.
